DIALYSIS TRANSPORTATION
For those undergoing dialysis treatment, dependable transportation can make all the difference. H&M Transport’s dialysis transportation service can help you or a loved one undergoing dialysis treatment get to and from appointments.
- Wheelchair Accessibility: Our commitment to care means all our vehicles are equipped to be wheelchair-friendly.
- Empathetic Drivers: Beyond just professional training, our drivers understand the unique needs of dialysis patients and cater to them with compassion.
- Affordable Rates: Quality service shouldn’t be costly. That’s why we ensure our prices remain competitive for our valued clients.
Does Medicare Cover Dialysis Transportation Services?
Unfortunately, traditional Medicare does not cover ambulatory, wheelchair, or stretcher van transportation to and from dialysis treatments. Medicare does, however, cover the cost of a non-emergency ambulance if the patient meets medical necessity.
H&M Transport works with several Medicare Advantage plans that may cover the cost of transportation. These plans are managed by a Third Party Transportation broker such as Access2Care and SafeRide Health. If you have a Medicare Advantage plan with a transportation benefit managed by either of these brokers- you must schedule transportation through the broker and request H&M Transport as your preferred provider.
We understand that the cost of transportation to and from each appointment can get expensive through ride sharing apps. It can also put a strain on family and friends as they may not always be available when a ride is needed and often do not offer the door through door level of service to ensure passenger safety and comfort.
That is why H&M Transport offers an affordable dialysis transportation for our clients. Our goal is to get you to your appointments safely, every time, without breaking the bank. Schedule your dialysis transportations today!
